Server Management

In all Dedicated Server packages, ByteHouse include server management services which many hosting companies charge extra for. These include;

• Dual Enterprise Level Hardware Firewall Protection in High Availability Mode
• Antivirus Software
• Automatic update/hotfix retrieval/notification
• Full administrative/root access
• 1 hour hardware replacement policy
• Standby emergency servers of equal or higher specification
• 24/7 monitoring/ engineer alerting (PING ,HTTP as standard)

Full Server Management

• Native Software support eg, PHP, ASP.NET (updates/configuration)
• Kernel updates
• Some 3rd party software support and installation on request. (eg .PHP plugins, SQL Server configuration/optimisation)
• Full hotfix management, automatic installation and management
• Advanced operating system management and configuration support

Full server management can be added to any dedicated server package for £45/month based on a 12 month agreement.

*Customers without full server management can still make use of it on a per-incident basis. Support charges are currently £80 per hour.
